Lola Domènech
Olot 1967. Architect from ETSAB 1994 (Barcelona Technical School of Architecture).
She currently runs her own architecture firm and combines her professional activity with teaching. Since 2017 she has co-directed the project to reform the Ramblas in Barcelona (under construction). She has worked on the urban transformation of different public spaces such as Passeig de Sant Joan in Barcelona, Plaça Major in Manresa or Av Catalunya in Calonge, among others. She has worked on several landscape intervention projects such as the Adaptation of the Roman Forum of Empúries in L’Escala (Girona), as well as on architectural projects that explore new ways of living, such as the housing building for four friends in Barcelona and the 45 social housing units in Manresa.
The studio she has directed since 1995 has been dedicated to architecture, interior design, public space and landscape, developing projects that are especially committed to quality, functional, coherent and environmentally friendly urban and architectural design, applying sustainability and eco-design criteria. Her work has been recognized in several awards and specialized publications.
Since 2006, she has been a project professor on the Postgraduate Private Perimeters at the Elisava School (University of Vic_UCC). Director of the Architecture Workshop A contraluz in 2014-2015 at the Elisava School. Professor at the Bau Design School in 2008 and guest professor at the University of Coimbra (2022) / Trieste Architecture (2021) / Roma Tre, la Sapienza (2018) and at the CEDIM Design University in Monterrey-Mexico (2012-2013), among others.

Dedicated to architecture, interior design and public space design, it develops projects that are especially committed to quality, functional, coherent and environmentally friendly design, applying sustainability and eco-design criteria, without renouncing key concepts and good technical resolution.
The studio has more than 20 years of experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams specialising in engineering, archaeology, topography, geotechnics, biology and citizen participation processes, among others.
